Let's Deconstruct

About the Author:

My name is Edmund J. Janas, II, I am the owner of Brego.com, I'm a Writer, Actor, Artist, Director and soon-to-be-producer. I am passionate about animal rights and the environment. Please follow me and my work on Facebook or Linkedin. I'm a former long-term caregiver and an advocate for patient rights, including the end-of-life rights for elders, veterans and the disabled.

In life there are calamities that happen and there are the calamities that have not yet happened. Disasters that can be mitigated if not averted altogether. Trendsetic is actually part of a bigger vision which includes support for an environmental sister app. I envision a creative company that utilizes collective creativity, a think tank if you will, to develop...not only ideas but solutions to the world's problems.

Brego.com is about the environment, nothing is more important. We run the risk of "forever chemicals" in our drinking water and a near collapse of insect populations. As the leader of Brego.com, as a steward of the environment and future generations, everything I do comes back to 1)Human rights and 2)Animal rights and 3)The environment. We can't have anything worthwhile if we are fighting each other or neglecting our planet. True creativity cannot flourish under survival mode, only pale imitations of originals will flourish in such times.

Most people need to see evidence first, to believe in a thing. But that's not how the creative process works. I believe we are in a transitional period where people no longer see creativity as an attack upon the status quo, but rather...embraces creativity as the lifeline of humanity. But old paradigms must die off so that new ones can take hold.

Speak truth...without apology.

Many of my stories aim to deconstruct race and racism, my aim is also to raise awareness about climate change and to bring about reforms for the better treatment of animals. I write stories with self-determined female leads and strive to give voice to the LGBTQ+ community by way of fully-realized LGBTQ+ characters. You can read my short stories here.

I am currently in predevelopment for the The Keepers, a feature-length animated vampire film set in Western, Massachusetts. It is an allegorical tale about corporate vampirism. The Keepers is also a story about making the wrong choices in life and having the courage to change when the stakes are high.
